How credits work
Last updated November 2, 2026.
Credits pay for work that reaches AI engines or reads websites. Your agent sees what each step costs before it runs, and you aren't charged for work that fails.
What uses credits
Asking AI engines, reading your site or the pages engines cite, ranking problems, writing fix plans and checking fixes on your site all use credits. Reading your account, estimating a cost and reading your results don't.
Limits
- Each connected agent has a daily limit, which resets at 00:00 UTC. You choose it when you approve the connection.
- Your agent has to ask you before spending more than a set amount at once.
- If a step needs more credits than you have, it doesn't run and you aren't charged.
Expiry
Plan credits last 60 days, credit packs last 12 months, and signup credits last 30 days.
